New tower view coming from beach.


just finished a stay and wanted to share some photos of the construction. Diamond member on 2 FNCs and points. No upgrade from what I booked garden view in Curaçao. Curaçao was closest to new tower but you couldn’t hear construction noise from inside. Rooms were refreshed and fine but not wow. Looks like new carpet and artwork, some updates in bathroom.

For us, considering we used points and certificates and the availability of nonstop flights, it was still worth it. If paying cash, I would consider the Hyatt 2 doors down as their construction is complete and the pool areas plus new padded lounge chairs at pool and on beach looked nice.

Highly recommend pre booking oceanfront palapas. Guarantee nice views and no/little construction noise. The palapas in the back and anything by the pool will have noise and pool area bad views on both sides. They had a dj everyday which helped with noise.

The lobby area looks nice and they redid the area for the parrots. New umbrellas and lounge areas by pool. Service and staff still great. Appreciated the reusable water bottles and multiple water filling stations.
