May someone confirm that a 2h layover is enough to enter qr lounge?
Last year we had 2h 10m and 1h 40m layovers; both flights arrived around midnight and were on time.
The first we managed to get a shower, but no time for food or drink.
The second (1h 40m) was horrendous. We arrived at one end of the terminal and our next flight was from the other end, On arrival we had to go through security with our hand baggage and just about everyone's (including mine) were flagged for manual searches and then put back through the scanners. We finally got to the lounge, visited the restrooms and were off again within ten minutes; no drink, no food and definitely no shower.
Next year we are going to have a relaxing overnight at the airport hotel on the way out and then we have a 2h 15m layover on the return, which will hopefully be a bit less stressfull than last year's return and we'll have time for a bite to eat or at least a couple of drinks.We won't bother with a shower this time.
So is two hours enough? Yes it is, but don't expect to enjoy much time in the lounge. The OP's 3h 5m sounds good though.
