Instead of Uber I would recommend looking into 'We Know' - it's the official heathrow airport taxi service. It's actually not bad and an advantage is on arrival, you just go to a desk which they have in every terminal and show them your booking reference and then they will call the driver to let them know you are here and they will come inside and get you and help with luggage. I always found uber a bit inconvenient as you have to go to a specific pick-up point which in terminal 3 at least is a bit of treck and then you have to wait for the driver, etc.
