As regards the individual about whom you are writng, I could not and would not comment. However in your general points, you are quite right. I have been posting only a short time, and I will not go back to the BA site as there is someone there who is most unpleasant, rude, arrogant, and proports to be an expert on the airline. No other view count or matter. That said maybe he/she thinks the same of me. Maybe if we actually met, we'd get on fine, but I just think that avoidance is best, as I might commit something in writng that I'd later regret.
We are all entitled to our views, but what I value most is that we respect those of others. I have learnt a huge amount from the wisdom of others who post here, and I would hate to see that compromised by slanging matches between people, or, for want of a better word .....iness and snide remarks. I read some pieces and see it just a steam valve (surely people's lives don't really spin around upgrades/denied upgrades, breakfast options, or power points) which is hopefully useful. The USA, for me a Briton, is about freedom of speech, and freedom of expression. Sometimes that which is written takes on a magnitude which would not apply if we heard the tone and the manner in which it was said.
I hope that I have not caused any offense by this as none was, or is intended.
