What’s up is one of the 4 generators is “not responding” and the backup is questionable. And nobody wants to fly into icy conditions with that scenario. Waiting for hotel voucher. I hope they send a similarly sized plane. I’ll be annoyed if I get downgraded since the whole point of my London trip was to use my upgrades.

Since AA (and possibly OW) doesn’t have any juice (gates/service) at KEF everything is a bit up in the air so to speak. It’s the “wait in line for a shuttle hotel bus” scenario. Still waiting. Exp counts for nothing in KEF, though at this point anything is (probably) better than trying to doze off in the terminal.

On the up side, Captain Jay O’Donnell & the crew are staying with all the pax until the last pax gets on a bus. Only then will the crew leave the airport. He bought his crew pizzas while they wait.
