Thanks for the quick response - I hadn't realised that aerolopa gives seat pitch! "XL" is slightly misleading then, lol. It looks as though the exit rows are the best then? We'll have to collect bags at each end so not in a huge rush to disembark.

We have several MAN/MAD booked, one MAD-VGO-MAD and one ACE-MAD. Possibly VLC-MAD to be booked. Haven't been through MAD in over 25 years so it'll be pretty much a new experience. The LCCs have become so outrageously NOT low cost in the past couple of years, IB is a no-brainer on cash fares.
