I cant speak to how it differs from TripCase, but yes, I'm able to create full trip Itineraries in TripIt (thats jsut a regular feature, Pro not required), which shows everything from flights, hotels, car rentals, restaurant reservations and other activity bookings, etc. TripIt can auto-import from a lot of email providers (such as Gmail), or you can forward email confirmations to TripIt, or just create (or edit) in TripIt. As far as a feature set, TripIt is pretty comprehensive. Its just the interface that looks like its from 2005. The iPhone (and I assume similar for Android) app isnt that bad actually, but the website is poorly designed and requires way too many clicks to get stuff done.
