The tricky bit will be the US - and they might stop you boarding in India if they can't get in touch with the US to check if you'll be turned away.

You can normally do a name change via a phone call if it's max 2 or 3 characters (genuine typo) without having to buy a new ticket. I would definitely call up and ask if they can remove the extra character, then you'll be ok assuming that Karen is a middle name.
