I have a choice between 3K and 5K on an upcoming flight.
I have done 3K on several flights now between Haneda and DFW and never felt claustrophobic. The suite is quite spacious compared to many other business class seats, so I think this help also.
My next flight on the A350 is to LHR, have secured 3K both ways. Besides very occasional access to the cupboard in front of the seat, there is little traffic in the aisle and the extra room in the foot cubby makes this seat very desirable.
