I have followed the suggested procedure and, not having heard since (that is, two months) I called the Senator line. The kindest soul told me that my claim had been rejected due to some IT bug, that she would reopen my ticket and that she was confident that the miles would be credited given the classes (and the ticket price, let me add). Shortly after I got a very impersonal email telling me a case had been opened. I hope it will be closed soon, too.
I find it unfair to have to fight hard for what should be effortless. I did not set the rules of the M&M program, but LH should abide by them if it doesn't want to give the impression that the program is not to be taken seriously.
