Another data point with an Alaska award ticket--the website wouldn't let me do anything until I entered contact info, which it wouldn't let me do (on 3 different browsers and on their Android app). I have a FF (Sindbad) account, so I emailed them daily, 3X and finally got an answer saying they can't help me, that I have to contact the main number. I filed feedback and have only received an auto response. I emailed the US address and was asked for Oman PNR or ticket numbers, odd since I had provided my Alaska PNR and literally asked for the Oman one. I provided ticket numbers and have not received a response.

On the Alaska site, I had to go back to the old format (there's a link above flight details) to get the Oman PNR. Then, one Oman "manage booking" page would not accept it, while another one did.

I called the number in Oman and got seats. I called a second time (the agent was rude) and asked for the reservation to be attached to my Sindbad number. I then asked her to attach the contact info that I couldn't; she said it was done by the Sindbad attachment. I then checked the booking and my US number was there with no country code as [10 digits]-CELL. It doesn't show up when I log into Sindbad. I still can't change contact info, with the same error. I'm guessing I'll have to check in at the airport.

All this is on a business-class ticket! So far, their CS makes that of US airlines look good.

UPDATE: Online checkin worked perfectly.

UPDATE2: Checking in at CGK was a fiasco. They held our baggage hostage until we paid >US$600 in baggage fees. I have put the whole story up at:

...as it is more on-topic there.
