Now the shocker--- now I know there is a starter, and dessert, but AA has hit rock bottom--- one of the offerings is a Fruit and Cheese Plate as a *MAIN ENTREE* Are you kidding me?!?
I mean they used to offer the Fruit and Cheese Plate before arrival into OGG, or as a dessert option, instead of an Ice Cream Sundae, but a Fruit and Cheese Plate as a Main Entrée?!?!?
American Airlines: Going for Great!!

??? I guess I'm confused.
I see full dinner options for shellfish, beef, veggie or chicken. There is no requirement to accept the cheese plate as your 'premium dining' meal.
I've had the Ginger Shaved Beef (a year ago) and enjoyed it.
But yes, various 'beef', 'chicken' etc dishes do rotate thru the meal cycles. Your favorites will probably be back in a future rotation.
Being a Flagship flight from DFW, isn't the option of Flagship Dining available prior to departure ?
Perhaps those taking that option prefer a lighter option for their 'dinner'.
I guess it's Delta where I'm used to seeing the option of "I will not be dining onboard". Oh the horrors of offering alternative options .
