Arriving on SN NSI-BRU in premium economy. Expected arrival 5:05am. Departing 7:00am BRU-MAD in J on IB. Separate Tickets, Star Alliance Gold and oneworld Emerald on a US passport. I plan to have a small backpack and carry-on sized 56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm which should keep from having to check luggage.
  1. Is it correct that I will arrive into T, have to go through immigration, security and then I'll get spit out into A and continue to my gate?
  2. Is it likely that immigration will be busy with other Africa arrivals at this time of the morning and I can expect a long line?
  3. Would it help if I am arriving in J for the NSI-BRU as opposed to PE to expedite any of the transfer process?
  4. Does J or oneworld Emerald status for the departing flight help expedite any of the transfer process?
  5. I have been tracking NSI-BRU and sometimes it arrives up to 30 minutes late. Would I still have a chance if this happens to my flight?
  6. Is there anything I am missing?

Thanks all!
You need immigration & security & some distance to walk, with under 2 hrs, not something i would ever consider on separate tickets, depends on your appetite for risk & your plan B if things go wrong
