FYI I got the same refusal to ticket someone on my friends list earlier today on the GGL line (India I assume) despite gentle escalation (please double check, agent went off the line for a good few mins). I'll call again mid-day to hopefully get better trained UK staff and will report back if that fails too. (insert observation of choice re: ggl/gold training like this justifying higher thresholds)
