As the title suggests, I am on an Emirates flight (MXP-JFK in J, booked with miles, if that matters) and was wondering if my friend can apply their miles to upgrade my seat (39k to F). I don't quite have enough, even with transferrable credit card points, to be able to do it myself, but I have a friend who does, so was curious if Emirates allows this, and if so, if it's something that I would have to call in to do?
