No, you can still earn EQM/RDM if you purchase the flights from DE and include your AS FF#. The difference is that earnings will be according to the unified earning chart for itineraries purchased with the partner. A DE J purchased from DE would earn 125% by distance for EQM/RDM and any additional RDM you would earn as an Elite Bonus.

last year J class was 200 percent RDM and 300 EQM
