Not surprised if Marriott shoved through another massive devaluation which also helps their hotel owners at the same time... and thats obviously really the people that Marriott is concerned about keeping happy... the franchise owners and hotel management companies.

Would be a big slap to business travelers also who stay frequently at some of these brands like CYs, which are marketed to biz travelers, because of price or lack of FS hotels in the area.
