I quit staying here because of this. Used to be that for the desserts, everyone knew that you had to be there right at 8:30, more or less, because they wouldn't replenish them when they ran out. That was fine, it was just dessert. But since the renovation they essentially applied that philosophy to the entire evening offering. I don't value a lounge where I have to be there at 5:00 on the dot to get whatever is on offer. The evening staff were all pretty indifferent when I expressed my feelings about it, particularly because the front desk communicates the evening offering as being from 5 to 8 (or whatever the hours are), not 5:00 until whenever they run out and then maybe there will be more food, maybe not, and if there is, it'll be low quality compared to the initial offering.
