Same here - I complained to Amex 1x via chat, spoke to the hotel 1x - and then waited. On Feb 8 the credit appeared for my Xmas stay. I thought I was going to have to yell via phone (not chat) but eventually it appeared. Likely because enough of us complained to the hotel and Amex. Anyway, check your statement credits all - issue may be resolved for all now.
Funny enough, you can tell they rushed the processing label because the charge is for "HITON QUEENSTOWN", dropped that L
