Thanks all for the feedback, that's promising. Presumptions came from speed reading this thread. The Star Privilege access is through the 1R Lounge Pass MR? I have a 40 night MR to select benefits, so would probably select that then.
As a Plat the room upgrade is more likely than not, as long as rooms are available? We're going off peak and the resort is currently looking quite empty.
