I recently spent a night at The Vagabond Club - it was a unique experience, for sure. Here are my impressions and photos:
Note: I skipped evening service (4 to 7) due to stomach problems.
Pros:
- Upgraded to the highest suite type in the hotel - Vagabond Club Suite
- Bed was generally comfortable - medium mattress, covers weren’t thick but were not paper thin, plush pillows
- Shower had decent water flow
- Suite has lots of interesting art
- Front desk staff was friendly
- Breakfast was good - tasty scrambled eggs and hashbrowns, good pancakes (menu in pictures)
- Offered late checkout - no issue with requested 2 PM
Neutral:
- No windows besides sky lights
- Suite only accessible via stairs
Cons:
- Unable to get consistent hot water (mostly just lukewarm)
- Safe battery was low, and safe was inoperable
