Holding a Chase Sapphire Reserve card gives you $5 credit towards restaurants and 2x $10 towards grocery/retail every month. The Preferred gives you 1x $10 for grocery/retail monthly. Both give you Dashpass membership.
Prior to February the $5 restaurant credit was given as a general $5 Doordash credit and was able to be accumulated over 3 months and to be used on any order, not only specifically restaurant. As of 2/1, the $5 is for restaurant only and must be used monthly.
I learned the $5 credit is now applied after consuming any gift card credit you have, not before. On another order it did not work because I used another promo. I don’t know if both of these are intentional, but the $5 is now even worse than a coupon.
