I found the new roomier cell phone lot at LAX.

Going south on Sepulveda, just past the In-N-Out Burger place, take the SECOND right past the first right that goes into the airport. Then take an immediate right turn before going up and over the bridge over Sepulveda. The new lot is on your right. It is clearly signposted.

I checked, and the old lot is still active. When I was there, the old lot had only a few open parking places. The new lot had many open parking places. I was there 2/12/2025.

From the new lot, make a right turn out of the lot, then a left turn at the T intersection at the end of the street. (A short block.) That will put you on an access ramp to the main entrance to the airport off Sepulveda. Follow the Arrivals directional signs.
