FWIW, the tax form that Morgan Stanley provided me did not include the $695 engagement bonus as taxable income.

For my CashPlus account, they sent a De Minimis 1099 Letter that said my account had not exceeded the $10 threshold to receive a 1099-INT or other relevant tax form.

However, I got a 1099-INT for the interest earned in my AAA account.
