My international arrival experiences at LAX have been uniformly very good (including one time I was traveling with someone who didn't have GE, and we used the mobile passport kiosks). Never taken more than 5 minutes to get through immigration and baggage claim is usually quick. Better than SFO for sure. It is a 15-25 minute walk from TBIT T7 though.
