I was regularly a PC member through 2019 and then my travel, like most, dropped off a lot from 2020 onward. But every year, Hertz has been renewing my PC membership. In 2024 I've had 9 rentals in total, for about 15 rental days, if that. I doubt I had any rentals in 2020, but like most people I think they renewed it for 2021 anyway. In each year since 2021 I haven't exceeded 10 in a given year.
So why are they extending me? I have loyalty going back 25 years with many of those PC, but not all, if that counts.
I was able to gift 2 deserving friends/family members PC for 2025 thanks to an email I got this morning with the offer and they will probably take good advantage of it. Not sure if that will factor into my next year's renewal or not.
With the official email today re-upping me to PC, the verbiage said : "
We’re excited to share that you now have top-tier President’s Circle status through December 31, 2025 as part of your exclusive partnership benefits". I know my Marriott Titanium gives Hertz Five Star. I don't have any other travel related memberships that have Hertz PC as a benefit (that I know of). Not looking a gift hose in the mouth.
