United Club Pass: WWYD?

I have 2 one-time passes for United Club, from my Credit Card.

I have a trip coming up in May-June, which offers me 3 opportunities to use United Club.

On my outgoing flight, I have a layover in San Francisco. The layover itself is 2 hours, but between de-planing, changing terminals, and then boarding time, I figure I may get an hour out of it, which isn't nothing but....not sure if it's worth it.

On my return flight, I have a 2.5 hour layover at LAX, and to be honest, LAX I would say is the highest priority, just because I have seen such rave reviews about it. I have global entry, so I am hoping that customs and all that won't take too terribly long, and I will be able to enjoy it for a little while.

I then have a layover in Houston, 4 hours woof. But, I know Houston has multiple United Clubs to choose from. And, with 4 hours to kill, I might as well, ya know?

Push comes to shove, I would probably use my passes on LAX and Houston and forego SFO.

BUT, I am able to get a trip pass for $44, which would cover both LAX and Houston. It seems silly to spend the money when I have free ones to use. But....value-wise, it comes out to $22 per airport and I could also try the different Houston lounges if I chose.

Also...I am aware that sometimes one-time passes aren't usable when at capacity, whereas trip passes have higher priority. So, it does give a little peace of mind.

So, in theory, I could do the trip pass for the return trip, use a one-time pass for SFO (or not) and then save one or both one-time passes for later in the year. That said, I don't have any trips planned just yet. I would hate to leave a free benefit on the table and be unused.

Given the circumstances, what would you recommend?
