Flown this route 10+ times in last two years. As others have said, KL is better than VS across almost every dimension. Maybe the Clubhouse is better but transiting LHR is not fun. AMS is great, love the lounge. AF with those aircraft is last.

That being said, the truly correct answer on this route is Qatar. Blows all three out of the water on every single dimension plus the routing is better, if you can sleep well on a plane. Opportunity to get 10 hours of continuous sleep vs at best 5 and 5.
