I recently paid a $250 early check-in fee at a Ritz-Carlton while on a reward stay. I have been denied points for that $250 spend. It doesn’t make sense to me as this is a charge that the hotel is receiving for the room. It isn’t like a 3rd party vendor as parking often is.
