- Santander Select members cannot apply for Unlimited, I got an email today and I got the director of my branch to confirm.
- Santander Iberia Icon is a program you can request on top of the premium plan, it’s not public but can be requested and has a cost of 100€ per year. It’s a card issued by Iberia Cards to Santander where you can benefit from 1:1 on Iberia purchases and the usual 1:3 on others and the other perks like Plata. It also includes travel insurance. So one could use this card to buy flights on Iberia and get an extra PE of 10:1 instead of the 1:2 rate of normal Santander plan, and use the Santander plan of 1:2 to bypass the 1:3 Icon ratio in normal purchases.
Thanks for this clarification. It's different than what I was told today but makes quite a bit more sense.
