I’ll never understand how United can offer passengers without status a cheaper upgrade option than those that have status. Tells you all you need to know about how they view their most frequent flyers / biggest spenders.
and it’s not a case of United choosing revenue over giving the upgrade away… they’re choosing WHO they offer the reduced upgrade $$ seat to, while at the same time not offering it to customers who are their ‘better’ customers.
someone explain how it makes any sense
