It's been awhile since I stayed there, but I remember it having a terrible breakfast where many items were not fully cooked. The property is nice looking though, though the second floor entry takes some getting used to.

In that same context, HP and HH are not the super-dependable category king they once were, The first-gen new builds are due for update. The Amerisuites conversions are due for a second remodel. Some have been. Some have not. Best suggestion is check Flyer Talk for recent reviews. Failing that or in addition to that, check Trip Advisor reviews for say the last 18 months. There is usually a trend.
I haven't been there since 2023, but didn't think it was as worn as other former Amerisuites. What really impressed me was the staff, though I also remember the breakfast being decent. The staff allowed me to check in really early and gave pointers on where to visit in Juarez (the area near the Paso del Norte border crossing was really safe at noon on a Tuesday). The hotel is very popular with the National Guard and Army, but that seems to be most places near the airport. Recent reviews suggest there was a remodel in early 2024.
