Transit in MNL within the same terminal on PAL isn't a great experience, but it's honestly not that horrible. Most negative comments about and warnings against MNL transit pertain to inter terminal connections, which I agree, fall into the "horrible" category.

If you are saving thousands of dollars, PAL might be a sensible choice for you.
