Cannot refund charge for "infant in lap"
Hi Flyer Experts! I recently booked an award international trip (GRU-MIA) for 3 adult passengers at business class and later added an infant in lap to the reservation. It required me to pay 10% of the fare in the same class and the call center agent told me this money would be refundable in case of cancellation. Well, a month later I called them to cancel the entire reservation, and guess what? They told me the baby's ticket fare is non-refundable. Have you been in a situation like this? I wonder if there are other international channels I can use to contact AA instead of the BR call center that wasn't able to help at all. FYI: I'm EXP.
