I definitely agree though that someone intentionally ended the promotion. It's been on autopilot for at least a year that I know of. My local store usually doesn't even have the promotion displayed but The correct price always until today was displayed after checkout. 🤔
I seem to recall this happening in the past. Once in a while ODOM shifts the sale by a week or so. It's not necessarily the end of the world. Check out this post and scroll down to "past deals"... you'll see it moves around quite a bit.
