Having second thoughts here - Is it worth paying the premium/amanflation (lol) to visit jiwo during peak, dry season when occupancy is higher?
For folks who have stayed before, there is the 4th night free offer, but no activities included. Does it get boring after the 4th night / did it feel like getting nickel & dimed by activities? Considering changing the offer used to this instead. Thank you!
I just went in Nov, which is the start of rainy season. I still really loved my stay there but you do have to prioritize your outdoor time in the morning. Also, if you want to go hiking during rainy season, the people that went on a hike when I was there said that it was pretty muddy/slippery and not ideal.
For # of nights, that just depends on what you want to do there. I stayed for 3 nights and thought it was a good amount of time. The Borobudur tour will only take 2 hours max so you can do other activities on the same day. I think if you wanted to go see Prambanan as well (since that's more of a whole day activity) or just have more time relaxing at the hotel, then 4 nights is great.
FYI, they don't really have spa facilities, it's just one of the suites converted into a treatment room. The pool area is really nice though.
