I’ve been fortunate to not have had any truly bad Hyatt Place experiences. The vast majority are indifferent, especially short airport stays where I just need a bed and shower overnight.
I really liked the Hyatt Place in Park City where I stayed last summer. It seems like a relatively new property with central air conditioning (which is a lot quieter than the wall units that many Hyatt Place properties have). One thing that location does that I haven’t seen at any other Hyatt Place is evening appetizers, which are great for a quick bite after spending the day hiking. And while it’s certainly not luxury, the rates are very reasonable, especially if you have Globalist status to knock off the $30 destination fee. In summer when rates are generally low this can be a big chunk of the cost (e.g. my nightly rate was $120 instead of $150 because of the Globalist benefit).
