Stayed for 3 nights and briefly writing this before check out.
Agreed the Away Spa is great. The gym equipments are new and the staffs are attentive and professional.
The breakfast is just okay. I don't like that I have to place an order for small hot items like sausages or bacons.
I had a few incidents throughout the stay..
1. The spa (pool, jaccuzi, and sauna) was closed for a private event from 3-6 pm on the third day of my stay. I was only notified for this a night before the closure on my TV-- the tv was on when I returned and had a message from the reception. I think it's utterly unprofessional for the hotel to not notify the guests before checking in as the private event was planned a while ago.
2. The hotel embedded Chromecast didn't work. While this may not be a big deal to anyone, I had technicians visit the room twice throughout the stay, but they couldn't fix it.
3. Just this morning, the fire alarm went off at 7 am. Got the evacuation warning so went down the stairs in pjs only to be told that it was a false alarm.
4. Since all the hotel guests got waken up, the breakfast was very full. The staffs seemed overwhelmed. They brought out wrong orders, brought the same order multiple times, and the buffet was not actively refilled. IMHO, I don't believe the staffs are fully trained to deal with full capacity of the hotel.
I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone and would NOT return to this property in the future. I will be checking in at Andaz Prague in a few hours and the FHR rate is far cheaper than regular rate at W Prague.
