I would leave a few more days, 48 hours isn't a lot for something a long way off. There is a good chance that Fiji will re-accommodate booked travellers on to the next day's service and this will then filter to MMB, at which point you can call up and have a more meaningful conversation. I would leave it until next Monday or so.
