I probably missed this upthread... but the Holiday Inn Express in Springdale, Utah, is converting to a Hyatt Place. I stayed there last year and I would be happy to stay there again as a HIEX. This is super close to the Zion National Park entrance station. I called the hotel and learned that this will be a Hyatt Place... even though there is nothing on the Hyatt website for this hotel which indicated what type of hotel this will be. The front desk person on the phone told me they are renovating the breakfast area and enlarging what was there to include a bigger breakfast area along with a restaurant and bar. For now they are providing a cold breakfast option only until the renovation is completed.
