Not that I would be in the running for 50k MQD anyway, but those do seem like rather steep thresholds to have a meaningful effect. AA and UA offer much more gradual benefits over top tier.
Actually I play card games a lot. IE Marriott at Marriott, Hilton at Hilton and Delta with Delta. A couple of things I am too lazy to change hertz, cell and airport parking have been the same for years. I do use the Venture X for most meals and other things.
