Hyatt Place Amherst NY was a standout for me. A very spacious and well built property in upstate NY. You can tell the owners cared a little more about what the property looks like because not your typical cookie cutter HP. A FO manager reached out to me via iMessage and asked if I needed anything before my stay. There was a small HP granola bar amenity waiting for me. Breakfast was not cramped and had actual berries.

Popular bar/restaurant with locals and decent happy hour specials.

Hyatt Place Milford/New Haven CT is fine. Not an Amerisuites conversion. Well located near Post Rd 1, Interstate access and a lot of big box shopping nearby. Breakfast can get cramped during Yale Parents week or similar events. The room is your typical CONUS HP layout with a radiator style HVAC.
