HPs in the US: good, bad, indifferent? Post your short takes.

Are there any GOOD HPs in the US?

The new one in Dunwoody GA is pretty nice, but the two ratty old ones up the road in Alpharetta need to be demolished. The one I'm at this week in Garland TX isn't that bad, but it is definitely tired.

If by the site photos I can see that it was a former AmeriSuites, it's a no go. Every one I've used has been bad. Otherwise the pics usually aren't very helpful in determining the condition of a property. In Concur I can usually see the year-built or year-renovated, but not on the Hyatt site.

HPs are my go-to property for the most part, as my employer is always yelling at us to cut travel costs, but I keep asking myself if it's worth putting up with sub-par properties to keep my Glob status... which gets me nothing at HPs, but is really nice at the better brands when possible and also for award travel.

So instead of many single-property review threads, how about quick listings here? There's so many HPs here. Maybe a wiki? Don't need a lot of detail or pics.
