Flew 121 segments last year of which 45 weren't on DL/Skyteam. Ended up with Diamond, AA Exec Plat and UA Gold. This change
may incentivize me to spend more on Delta depending on what they offer (i.e., more GUCs) but other wise will continue hitting Diamond and then trying to diversify.
With those thresholds, it's a good incentive for people who are going to be paying for a lot of additional international J flights to keep flying DL (operated or marketed), but unfortunately this doesn't really encourage additional Amex spend for most people
Yes. Depending on the options. Would only use spend to bump up to a level if I'm close. Have moved all spend off DL Reserve.
