The bad decisions continue to my mind. Boeing currently has 7 fully constructed 789 for AA. The earliest completed build was in April 2024. It's not clear to me why AA haven't taken them...but I've read a couple of posts (somewhere) that AA/Boeing hasn't been able to get the business class seat certified by the FAA with the sliding door. I'll caulk that up to the decision to buy a seat which hadn't been certified yet.

The bad decisions continue to have a compound effect on performance.
