Best to temper expectations about the Club Lounge: it's quite basic, with no service in the morning, but the restaurant breakfast is decent, with both a small buffet and a la carte menu (large portions and a pretty varied selection). You mentioned hot-tub/whirlpools in another thread, I'm afraid neither hotel has these, but as far as pools go, I definitely prefer the rooftop one at The Hermitage to Sari Pacific's 1970s relic.
Yes the Sari has a bigger difference between weekday vs weekend rates. Your knowledge of the area and the situations are quite helpful
I see Sari seems closer to some attractions including the Monas. The FourPoints is located close by and is half the price, but no lounge though.
I keep on showing my wife, hey we have to spend 7.2million IDR for the 4 days in Jakarta. Coming from Canada, those IDR are huge numbers.
