Okay, I called them and asked for a cheque, all seemed fine.
BUT... received the same letter today asking for more details, and when I called them was told there is a note in the account that they need to know a justification as to why this "needs" to be paid as a cheque and simply transferred.
I don't know where to go with this, can the FCA do anything or is it this kind of thing not in their scope?
