As much as I would hate it, I agree with this sentiment. Obviously, this is not being enforced at all currently, like many other rules.
I just had my tiny scissors taken at HYD (which tbf are prohibited in cabin luggage as per BCAS rules) after flying with them across about 15 domestic sectors over the last 6 months or so. I genuinely didn't know they were not allowed, and I just wish the rules were evenly enforced.
