There's been a lot of mention of Hulas (I loved the old place as well as Marys), haven't been to the new one yet even thought i've been in HNL 1/2 doz times in the last year.

One bar that I will never forget was the QM II (I think or maybe just the QM) in downtown HNL. This was back in the 80's. It was a tiny little place, just a few bottles in the well and back bar, all bought at the grocery store. In those days I used to drink "wet" martinis and the first time I went in with my then (and still) bf they didn't have any vermouth, I had to go buy some. That place was a real experience from what I remember .
