Most of the Playa Resorts are owned by Playa. Hyatt purchased all of the owned assets and the company. So most of the resorts will move over to Hyatt brands. As I mentioned above, there are a couple exceptions.
When a hotel changes flags, there is never a guarantee they will honor points bookings.
I thought hotel change flags, booking will be honored........ but further thinking previous brand company won't compensate hotel anymore
